This is off topic for the blog posting but you wanted a source of family friendly memes and cartoons.
Try www.thebfd.co.nz. They have a "BFD Daily Round Up", "Laughter is the best medicine" and once a week a "Sunday Punday" and a "Non Politicallhy correct" (which is fairly mild) collection.
The rest is New Zealand and Australian orientated stuff but often a perspective on world stuff too.

Just down US Highway 50 about an hour east of me, is an old saloon/camground/dive bar called Middlegate. Been referenced or featured in several movies, including the most recent Top Gun movie. They have their triple-decker burger and fries that is part of the Monster Challenge. If you can eat the whole burger and sides in one hour without puking, you get a memorial t-shirt and the meal is free. Many have tried, many have lost.
Nope, I didn’t even entertain the thought, I’ve had Bariatric weight loss surgery, literally don’t have the stomach for it any more.

Go to Arbys and order the Meat Mountain (might be Mountain of Meat). They'll serve you a sandwich with every meat they carry on it. A secret menu item.
