In honor of the Conclave, opening in Rome today...
... here's a suggestion from Matt, cartoonist at the Daily Telegraph.
There is a substantial portion portion of the world that still does, though these days it's primarily in the third world. The RC church is also one of the few long lived institutions still active. Jonathan
The most important election the world has seen since The Donald's first election. With a sigh of relief many of the world's Catholics watched as the church turned back to its established principles in 2005 and many again departed after it became apparent after the 2013 conclave that Benedict's election was only a minor curve in the road leftward. We can only wait and see (and hope).
With respect to our brothers and sisters, as noted elsewhere, if the smoke is black, the mixture is too rich, if it's white it's burning oil. And how do they control the color? Smoke cartridges?

I don't know why there is such a "big thing" about a new pope. The world doesn't listen or follow his teachings any how........
It couldn't hurt...
So long as there's no swimsuit portion.

It would be nice if they choose a Catholic, instead of a Socialist this time.... (sigh)
Amen!
I'm hoping that the left leanings of a Pope is hopefully was a one time thing.
I did NOT need the first mental image that came to mind! And I second this motion.

Cardinal Siccola should be selected but the Catholic church will not tolerate a Pope Siccola, for some reason ...
