The "accidental" fighter pilot
How a maintenance job, moving a few yards at a time down the runway, went wrong.
I bet the language in the cockpit of that fighter must have been . . . interesting!
A correction to that story: Taffy wasn't hospitalized for a couple years for help. He sought help over a couple years time to deal with the mental stresses that seemed to be due to this incident. PTSD was the verdict, IIRC.
Lacking a canopy had to be a big problem during this flight.

I saw that one. Taffy was a very lucky fellow and it's rather amazing he got the plane down. I like the History Guy videos. I find them interesting.
