How about a Jazz Age/Classical Age fusion to get your morning going? Here's George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue". The pianist is Khatia Buniatishvili, with the Orchestre National de Lyon conducted by Leonard Slatkin. This recording was made in 2017.

Great minds think alike...one of my favorite performances. Thanks for posting.
She's excellent (and nice to watch). Orchestra was great. Conductor was in charge and knew exactly what every component was doing and needed to do. Of course, George penned a fantastic item of music.
Damn Peter, you nailed this Sunday morning submission.
Amazing talent -- not a piece of sheet music in front of her. She is Georgian and speaks perfect German among other languages. She has a sister Gvantsa who is just as talented. I think Gershwin would be pleased by the perforamce.
Wow . . . not only does she have great skill and technique (speaking as a piano teacher), Khatia looks like she's having an absolute blast, and so do the orchestra and conductor. Music should be enjoyable, and it sure looks like everyone involved was having a great time.
Very nice.
I can only stand to listen to this piece, played this excruciantingly well, about a thousand times a week.
After that, I start to get a little tired of it.
