The idle musings of a former military man, former computer geek, medically retired pastor and now full-time writer. Contents guaranteed to offend the politically correct and anal-retentive from time to time. My approach to life is that it should be taken with a large helping of laughter, and sufficient firepower to keep it tamed!
My feet had some spots like tbat but, since I would go barefoot enough when fishing, my feet were tanned and the spots were as on a black panther. If you looked closely you could see'em. Winter is never in my prescription cabinet.
Once upon a time I saw a gal at a renfair who was wearing a chainmaiile "bikini" very obviously without padding. I can only speculate as to what the burn/tan/shadow pattern(s) might have been.

I have seen pictures of gentlemen in New Guinea who strive for the same effect, but all over their upper bodies. Might be a market there.
