I'm reading this on a smartphone. Most of our files at the office are electronic, with a distinct lack of paper in archives for the past several years. Entertainment almost can't be made without electronic effects.
If we were enslaved, how would we tell the difference? 🤪
Never fear. With the push towards wind and solar it will be inevitable that both electronic entertainment and our AI overlords will get hit with the sort of rolling brownouts and full outages we've seen in both California and Texas.
And don't even get me started on how very antithetical the push towards electric automobiles and trucks plays against an already strained to the max power grid.

whats to say all of this isn't the result of an AI or more than one coordinating to get us in line. deep state = deep blue and whatever assist it gets from other global big state players
