I've come across lots of accidents in my time, but never one like this. It happened on Monday in Louisiana.
Here's video of the falling trucks, taken by a car's dash camera.
I'm glad I wasn't in a car beneath that elevated railway overpass at the time. It would have been a sure cure for constipation - whether I was constipated or not!

Mother Nature sure can be a nasty B.
Soon as I saw the headline that said a train fell off a bridge in Louisiana, I thought "Huey P. Long Bridge." Hadda be. And it was.
This is, to the best of my knowledge, the first time that any railcars have fallen over the side of the Huey P. Long Bridge. The cars fell from the trestle portion about 1/3 mile from the roadway. Fortunately, they fell in in an area where there aren't any structures.
I was (now retired) a railroad engineer for the carrier involved in that incident and have operated countless trains over the nearly 80 year old bridge
