Tropical Storm Katie hit Düsseldorf airport this week . . .
. . . and the resulting landings were interesting, to say the least. Watch in full-screen mode for best results.

Wonder what that was running across the runway at 2:25 roughly... the three little pigs? Dingoes? Chupacabra?
This isn't the first time looking at scary landings to Düsseldorf's airport. Is the airport set-up in some kind of natural wind tunnel with the runways set cross-wind to the natural flow?

Okay, let me try again.
This isn't the first time looking at scary landings to Düsseldorf's airport. Is the airport set-up in some kind of natural wind tunnel with the runways set cross-wind to the natural flow?
Hopefully that makes more sense.
