Sunday morning music

When it comes to comedy, I prefer clean to dirty humor.  Anyone can make off-color jokes and have dirty minds snicker at them.  I appreciate humor that pokes fun at life in all its silliness and contradictions, and helps us laugh with people, rather than at them (unless they really deserve the latter, of course:  some do - for instance, politicians).

That being so, I've long appreciated the musical humor of Tim Hawkins.  I thought those of you who haven't heard him might enjoy a sample or three:  so here goes.

There you go.  Music with a humorous twist.

Late 80's 98 Rock out of Baltimore, guy named Bob Rivers did 'Twisted Tunes'. To the point that I think I had something like 15 or so full CD 'he' did.
99% of them clean enough to play at work, since they came across the radio on the morning commute.

Did a crap ton of Christmas tunes as well.
Not sure how things have changed, but they're available here.

I like the Gordon Lightfoot song because I've been to the wreck site, but he does have a point. :)
