Some very funny memes here - Thank You for sharing them with us. Particularly needed on a Monday.
The patch that's circulating on the interwebz around says "Float Around and Find Out" and has Winnie the Pooh under a broken balloon and an F-22 in silhouette. It's pretty funny.
We arrived in the Persian Gulf just after Hussein surrendered. The air wing immediately found someone to make them a patch that said "Operation Mop Up: No combat, no medals, no glory" and had a picture of a mop and bucket superimposed over a map of Iraq. So the military has a long history of making patches that make fun of ourselves.
I can Verify what Nitzakhon said. But it is NOT just Boston it is ALL of New England. Basically the point of view is if you were a local you'd know where are, if you don't know where you are you clearly don't belong here. Also local directions have a lot of "And then you turn left where the Esso Station used to be.." it is a challenge for non locals.
One morning I checked on a thermal shock chamber performing a life test. There was hydraulic fluid on the floor, ice on the ceiling and roof, and over by the loading dock the tank of liquid nitrogen larger than a tanker trailer was now empty. Fortunately the oxygen sensor in the room was working.

Organic grounding = there was a live bug inside; it's now a dead bug.
As someone who grew up in Boston area... I can confirm!

Good one... LOL
When in Dallas, Texas, I just pick a freeway going in the general direction I want to go.
The freeway system there looks a lot like the Boston street map.
