This one's for Alma Boykin

Alma's a writer and blogger, and also a singer and a perpetrator of puns.  I think she'll get several belly-laughs out of this list of musical terms, which appeared on MeWe yesterday.

I can see her choir director doing a facepalm as Alma trots these out at the next rehearsal . . .

I wanted this to have been read by Victor Borge.

Maybe nowadays we can get Rainer Hersch to do it.

I note that the final section of P.D.Q. Bach's "Missa Hilarious" (S.N2O) is the Angus Dei (Yriekay, Gloria, Credo, Sanctus, Angus Dei).

For those without a recording of it, there's a version online at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fy50X31_ec

Sometime after I graduated, they shut down my school's orchestra program due to complaints of all the sax and violins.

@Hamsterman,

So, you've been feeding material to John Wilder for how long, exactly?
