Doofus Of The Day #749

Today's award goes to the Turkish Special Operations agents who tried . . . and tried . . . and tried to break down the door of a suspect building.

And all captured in glorious Technicolor!

Where do you buy a door like that?

That was my 1st thought, too!

Why have a door like that when the side lights are simple glass and flimsy grill ornamentation.

Yet, the well fed policemen probably wouldn't have been able to squeeze through the side light space.

Wonder what thy call donuts in Turkish.

Ok, different take. Why would you EVER open the door after somebody's been obviously trying to break it in?

This is what you need if you hope to not be killed in a no knock search. Bars on windows, hurricane glass, reinforced door.

Perimeter alarms too.

(did a quick search and I can't find the vendor that has a similar door. Basically, toughened door, continuous hinge, multi-point locking system, reinforced jamb. I'll keep looking and post when I find it.)

That kinda looked like 'murica. Tried to bash down the door, then tackled the poor old white haired guy who answered. You could easily tell it wasn't the FUSA though... there wasn't any footage of the thugs shooting the poor guy's dog. Come to think of it, cops in this country wouldn't let anyone videotape their activities at all... oh, and the guys in this vid weren't wearing their bank robber masks... lol.

Video removed, alas..

Thanks for the heads-up, skreidle. I linked to another version.
