Doofus Of The Day #906

Today's award goes to an unfortunate fellow in Australia, courtesy of a link provided by reader Snoggeramus.

A MAN was left red-faced when firefighters had to be called to hospital to remove a tool from his penis.

The man became stuck after his penis swelled up in the ring spanner on Monday and was he unable to remove it.

Tweed firefighters say it not uncommon for them to be called to such jobs where people leave it too late to ask for help.

. . .

“We use a tiny angle grinder that’s air operated and use measuring tape to protect the skin and slowly zip away at it while keeping water running on it so it doesn’t get too hot.

“It’s a pretty delicate operation especially where it is, there’s a lot of blood vessels.

“We do quite a few of them.”

There's more at the link.

If he used a ring spanner, clearly he was nuts about someone . . . this time to the detriment of another kind of nuts!

Seriously, though:  I've never, ever been tempted, not even in my wildest imaginings, to stick portions of my anatomy where they were never intended or designed to go.  What is it with these people?

The more telling comment- “We do quite a few of them.” THAT makes one wonder...

An emergency room nurse once told me that an old man came in with his whanger chewed up pretty bad from not being able to reach the switch on the vacuum sweeper. I wonder if he was using the carpet attachment?

They should have used a photo of Helen Thomas. Guarantee that would shrink anything.

Well, as they say on the Renn-Faire circuit, " many a tight nut's been loosened by a small wrench from loose wench"
