Are any readers looking for AR-15's?
A gun show in the region that was to have been held soon looks to have been postponed, thanks to increased COVID-19 lockdown measures. A number of folks whom I've recently helped to upgrade their AR-15 personal defense rifles, and who needed to sell others to pay for the upgrades, now can't use that outlet to do so. This is where my readers may benefit, if you're interested. I know AR-15's are as scarce as hen's teeth in many parts of the country right now.
After discussions with all involved, I've agreed to act as facilitator (NOT as a dealer!!!) in selling these weapons, because I have a lot of readers who may be interested. All transactions will be shipped from a dealer here and go through your local FFL, and all applicable laws, rules and regulations will be observed. That way no-one's going to get into any difficulty with the authorities.
The AR-15's are in very good to excellent condition (I wouldn't hesitate to use any of them to defend myself). A couple are actually new and unfired; lower-end rifles that were bought, but not used, and replaced in the owner's primary battery with upgraded versions. There are about half a dozen of them, ranging from 10½"-barreled compact pistols to 16" carbines in 5.56x45mm, and one AR pistol in 7.62x39mm and another in .300 AAC Blackout. If ammunition is hard to find in your neck of the woods, some ammo can be supplied with each weapon at additional cost (requiring separate ORM-D shipping, of course). One gun has a laser sight on it, a couple more have folding iron sights, there are a couple of electronic dot sights, and at least two are available with Aimpoint PRO (Patrol Rifle Optic) sights, a top-notch "battle sight" (albeit expensive, but you pay for what you get - and, being used, these are about a hundred bucks cheaper than new ones). The PRO's may be available separately, depending on demand.
I'm waiting until all the rifles have been assembled before listing them. However, if any reader is interested, drop me a line (my e-mail address is in my blog profile in the sidebar, under "About Me & Contact Info"). I'll send you details of what's available as soon as I have them, probably within a couple of weeks. It'll be a case of "first come, first served". If you want one, get your name in early so you're high on the list! Prices will be reasonable by today's standards, in the $800-$1,000 range, including shipping costs. Your local FFL dealer's transfer fee will be for your account, of course; and ammunition, if needed, will also be extra (it'll have to be shipped separately).

As much as I'd like one, MD won't let me :(
I Feel that pain, Axe. I'd snap one up in half a heartbeat if I could, but the People's Republic of MD has other things in mind.
I'm in Arizona. Put me on the list...
I am in Tennessee. Please add me to the list!
People, please DO NOT ask to be added to the list in these comments. E-mail me, as described in the text. I can't add you to the list without a way to communicate with you, and a comment doesn't provide that.
