Every now and again, I enjoy laughing at some of Bollywood's more over-the-top fight scenes. I have to admit, they're getting better: some of their more recent offerings approach the best Hollywood's been able to produce in terms of technique, special effects and camera angles. Nevertheless, there are still some howlers out there, utterly impossible and therefore very funny. We'll sample a few from each category over the next two or three weeks.
To start us off with a laugh, here's an over-the-top fight scene starring Allu Arjan.
Definitely over-acted, and over-heavy on the drama and special effects - which makes it funny, at least to Western audiences.

I like the way they don't take themselves seriously.
Unlike many of us westerners who honestly think a 110lb female can beat a whole line of 250lb muscle-geeks, single-handedly, according to all the movies and liturature...
L vass amusssssst.
Reminds me of 70s kung fu flicks.👍👍
Good one, funny as hell!
Another spinach eater the way those bodies were flying.
Allu Arjun is part of "Tollywood" (which they will emphatically insist is *NOT* Bollywood) which is known for it's stereotype of over-the-top fighting and high-energy dance numbers with all the female backup dancers being white girls. And Allu Arjun ins considered to be either best or 2nd best male dancer in India right now too. He's sometimes called the "Indian Michael Jackson."
I recently saw "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" with him as the star (opposite the absolutely delectable Pooja Hegde -- seriously, look her up, you won't be sorry....) and it's a simple romcom using the "switched at birth" trope with several impressive dance numbers, and several over-the-top action scenes also. Quite fun!
Here's a fun little fight scene from that movie where he's retrieving his sister's scarf from a guy who grabbed it from her as he drove by -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNnqobZlPbk
