That's a lot of money . . .

Mexican police have seized about $26 million in a raid on a house in Sinaloa province. The Daily Mail published pictures of the haul. Click to enlarge.

This isn't their biggest seizure:

Last year, Mexican police uncovered a mind-boggling $206 million in bank notes crammed into cases and closets at the Mexico City mansion of a suspected drug kingpin, thought to be the biggest cash seizure in history.

With money like that floating around, it's no wonder the drug cartels can afford to hire legions of gunmen and arm them to the teeth. I've posted several times about the deteriorating crime situation in Mexico, and how it's affecting our safety in the USA. The money shown above is a graphic illustration of why it's spiraling out of control.

I would like to have been a fly on the wall when the entry team's eyes popped at the sight of all those bills.
