Good riddance!
So Ray Nagin finally got what was coming to him. It's long overdue. He was one of the most egotistical blowhards ever inflicted upon New Orleans by its voters, and proved utterly incompetent during the Hurricane Katrina crisis. Like Edwin Edwards and other corrupt Louisiana officials, his dishonesty was legendary. Everyone knew what he was up to, but no-one in the State of Louisiana criminal justice system would do anything about it. It took Federal prosecutors to nail him down.
I hope he spends the rest of his life behind bars . . . in a prison in a high-risk area for hurricanes . . . with no prospect of evacuation if one comes ashore.

Hey Peter;
Ray Nagin talked about having a chocolate city...Well I guess he will enjoy the chocolate cell block with all privileges that are associated with it.
I agree ! He is an embarrassment to our state !
