Some of my readers may have heard of Unicorn Riot, one of the many groups on the Antifa/BAMN/Black Lives Matter/EIEIO spectrum. They apparently produced the video clip below, showing their efforts to train their members in fighting skills, in order to "defend the marginalized", yadda, yadda, yadda.
I'll let the video speak for itself.
Uh-huh. I'm sure many of my readers are trembling in their shoes (?) for fear (?) of the skills (?) displayed. For myself, I think Clint Smith had the right of it when he famously said, "You can say ‘stop’ or ‘alto’ or use any other word you think will work, but I’ve found that a large bore muzzle pointed at someone’s head is pretty much the universal language."
A grateful tip o' the hat to the multiple readers who sent me the link to the video.

When i was a drill sergeant, if I'd've walked out and saw a bunch of trainees this feckless, I'd've committed seppuku in the company square.

I'm quivering with fear at the prospect of meeting one of those fierce warriors.
Oh wow... Really?
Most of we Australians regard this video as comic satire, very much at Antifa's expense. Indistinguishable from the tongue-in-cheek parodies which have graced our screens since TV started broadcasting in the 1950s. I pity the narrator making a fool of himself thinking a send-up / parody / comic lampooning is real life. I found nothing actually linking it to the 19 or so members of Unicorn Riot (yes they really are that insignificant according to Wikipedia).
... on the plus side, it's getting them outside in the fresh air, and they're getting some exercise.
If they want to try to reinvent martial arts rather than learn them from people who know them, well, it seems to be a characteristic of Millenials that they would prefer to start from scratch than to learn from those who went before.
The more time they spend wrestling in parks, the less time they can spend making trouble on the internet.
huh...i think a not overly ambitious brownie troop gets those boys sorted out in time for an early lunch.
Watch the video with the sound off, and then run the "Rocky" music in your head.
It is probably the most enjoyable way of getting rid of a kidney stone, as you will laugh so hard you'll pee yourself.
And, I have gone to militia training and seen almost as bad. Me, with no military training at all (other than common sense and too much SCA combat) knew more than most of the idiots who showed up. Including what to do when the trainer shouts "Incoming!!!"
Idjits like these serve as a tripwire for others, literally. When they fall down, they will be tripping the people running over them. Somewhat useful idiots, in a way.
On the one hand, we can laugh at this. On the other hand...the world's best swordsman does not worry about the world's second best swordsman, he worries about the neophyte.
While this may be a display of incompetence, it is a sign that some of them are learning lessons. And THAT is not something to dismiss lightly.
about best and second best swordsmen....
it's always the green belts that kick you in the nuts....know enough to do something but not enough to have any control. So you practice a technique and wham-o. Always.
They're the most dangerous thing on any mat.
"Everybody was kung-fu fighting ..."
Oh, except for anti-fa, because they believe that's cultural appropriation. :-)
AJ: "... the 19 or so members of Unicorn Riot ..."
Such a powerful fighting force of extraordinary magnitude ... let's have Doctor Klahn give them a big hand!
... and I'm done with the pop culture references, it's been a blast. :-)
Hmmm....The "normal" looking dude in The green tee shirt has a prosthetic Rt. leg, below the knee.... and seems to be their "instructor".
Name brand, brass-cased 308 ammo is about 55 cents/round in milsurp FMJ, a dime or two more in 168 grain SP or HP. It almost seems sinful to spend that kind of money on these people when SHTF.
Yeah they're silly; but numbers have a capability all their own. Good for a laugh sure, but Anti-First Amendment can muster a buncha folks with Soros' money. As Uncle Remus says
