Apparently it's real. However, like the double-barreled 1911 pistol, I see no practical use for it whatsoever . . . except, as the comment above says, to irritate liberals. For that, it's priceless!

I wouldn't want to carry it or the ammo load.
I am guessing it will start showing up in movies in a couple of years.
Now what would be really cool is if you could separate the two halves, like butterfly swords, and use them independently.
I want one (or should that be two?).
Because with two CA-legal 10-rd magazines, it holds twenty rounds. And there's not a thing the weenies in the state capitol can do about it.
Maybe thre next model?
Put it on a machinegun mount, either in a defensive position or a jeep, and at least it will take twice as long to overheat the barrels versus a more practical weapon.
