I think I can truthfully say, I've been there. In fact, some days, I never get beyond there!
yea, wife has medical issues, only daughter is on a self destructive spiral and my decent retirement has been kneecapped by inflation. Plus the world at large is trying to burn itself to the ground... Everything is just peachy. Think I'll go walk my dogs and meditate

I find sanity rather overrated.
A project. It helps if you always have a project to work/focus on.
