That ladder diagram doesn't have a 40 lb tool bag w/power extension cord strapped over the shoulder, pulling the climber back down. Leaning back for bag clearance further increases the effort.

I got the ladder joke. That said, seriously - a wiser ladder manufacturing move would be to space the rungs for the average Mexican.

Just the past year, I have climbed to a rooftop using a built-in 3-story ladder then hauled my Little Giant up to me on a rope.
I think they wrung out the ladder joke a bit too hard...
