Quote of the day

From Larry Lambert:

25% of women in America are being treated for some form of mental illness. That means that 75% of them are running around untreated.

I divorced about 16 years ago. Since then, every woman I've dated seems to take an inordinate amount of pharmaceuticals. And many of them seemed to be for anxiety, stress, sleep, mood, and other things that I would characterize as more mental than physical.

My ex-wife didn't take such things as far as I know, at least not while we were married. And she remarried after a few years.

It must be a real blow to their egos to reach middle age and realize that their sexual market value has plummeted. They've mostly lost their looks, and they've developed a lifetime habit of being disrespectful, unpleasing, and irritating to men. And many of them don't realize that is their problem, which just makes their attitudes worse.

One would think that after your time in combat that your survival skills would be more highly developed.

I dare you to leave that on your screen at home and walk away for 30 minutes. :-)

I'm about to turn 45, and it was only a few years ago when I crossed paths with a wonderful woman. She's far-Right, is breathtakingly beautiful and a taphophile like me. (Look it up.) I'm currently trying to lead her to Jesus.

There are unicorns out there, but they are, well, unicorns - very few and very far between.

Sad thing is, I was married to someone who had some form of mental illness, but the type was such that everyone and everything else was to 'blame' rather than her. If I had made such a comment, she would have tried to kill me. Again.

My favorite theory is that Estrogen makes you crazy, and Testosterone makes you stupid. From one person to the next, it's only a matter of degree, so decide how much you're willing to live with, and go from there.
