An umbrella wouldn't have helped . . .


Reader D. V. sent me the link to this video of a hailstorm over Woodson, Texas back in 2006.  The hailstones were the size of tennis balls, as you can see from some of them filmed close-up after the storm (and from the damage they did to vehicles and homes).





I'm glad I didn't have to drive through that!
