The ultimate toy for gun-nut boys?

I had to laugh when I learned of DS Arms' new Z Hawk. It's a combination of an AR-15 armorer's tool and a tomahawk.

Apparently one's supposed to carefully avoid the sharp and/or pointy bits while applying the tool to one's rifle.

Why anyone would want to add the hazard of serious self-inflicted injuries to the gunsmithing process, I have no idea!

I suppose one could argue that it's literally on the cutting edge of firearms technology . . .

Cutting edge, but I don't know how well that would play if you slipped... just sayin...

And no tool is complete if it can't open a beer bottle. :)

Boo! that's a bad joke ... and I wish I'd thought of it first. :)

It doesn't resemble a Z. ;)
But if the letter Z was chosen because it will be useful against zombies, I wouldn't use the large blade to break concrete, that would ruin the edge.

Well, it has the added advantage of being argued, "It's not a tomahawk, officer, it's an armorer's tool. See, this part here..."

Probably won't work any better than it did for Johnny Yune, but it might be entertaining.

That explains the 3 fingered AR shooters one sometimes sees at the range.
