A bird with balls
I had to laugh at this Brazilian seriema playing with a golf ball.
At first I wondered whether it thought the ball might be food, and was trying to break it open on the concrete path; but I'm forced to conclude it was simply having fun.
Earlier in my youth, I visited the Grand Canyon. Once in the advanced dusk, I was standing near The Edge and noticed an occasional faint whistling sound. I was able to discern that there were small, unidentified birds diving over the rim of the canyon at speed. I have not been able to decide if they were catching bugs or just having fun.
