Kavanaugh hearings, much?
As usual, Stephan Pastis puts his own stamp on the political correct idiocy of the day.
When you think of how much political correctness we saw on display during the Kavanaugh hearings last week (as opposed to, say, honesty, decency and fairness), that's pretty accurate.

Way too much truth in this one.
I don't understand fat shaming. I would hang Venus With A Mirror, by Titian, or Venus At A Mirror, by Reubens, in my living room. Now, if you are so big you can't see your feet, well, you need to make some changes.
The democrats have proved with the Kavanaugh hearings they have no morals whatsoever, and their only goal is power. The problem is, their supporters have to have the same sense of morality to believe what is going on in Congress is right. I asked several people, " Do you believe it is ok to lie about your co-workers, steal from your employer or customers, and have sex with anyone you find interesting? " They all said, " No, of course not. " I said, " Yet you support politicians who do that all the time, so you must find it acceptable. I will keep my wife and children away from you. "
No, they don't speak to me anymore.

...and nothing of value was lost.
The only honesty, decency and integrity in that hearing was shown by Kavanaugh. The only way I've found to demonstrate to some women what it means when absolutely unprovable allegations are lodged against one is to ask them just how they'd feel if child protective services came to their door with a cop in tow and told them that some anonymous persons described them as a bad and evil parent and the State needs to take their children away right there on the spot. I don't bother with the lesson much because there is so little point.
HMS Defiant, that is a GREAT example.
