Just another therapy animal?

A physical therapy practice at Alaska Regional Hospital had an unusual therapy animal visit them the other day.

You can read more about the visit here.  Looks like the moose was pregnant, and wanted some extra greenery - hard to find in a normally snow- and ice-bound Alaska winter.

Did she have a flying squirrel with her?

I had a similar thing happen in Anchorage about 18 years ago. Was working late at the office on a summer evening and a moose was standing right outside the door when I went to leave - had to wait for about 20 minutes for her to walk away before I could go out the door. Life in Alaska.

Those women in the video were talking as if some cute little puppy had wandered in. I hope none of them tried to go up and pet that thing.
