Your will and estate planning
Karl Denninger has a very comprehensive overview of traps, pitfalls and complications that can affect your estate in the event of your death or incapacitation. If you haven't paid attention to estate planning, his advice might save you a great deal of trouble and expense.
I don't think his article will remain available for more than a few weeks (he tends to put them behind a firewall after a period), so I highly recommend that you click over there and read it soon. If it seems worthwhile to you, print out a copy, or save one on your own computer.
Worthwhile reading.

Being retired military, I've made sure mine and the requisite powers of attorney are updated.
Amazingly good reading. Compelling, too.
