Reader Steven S. sent me the link to this video of an Australian police motorcycle display team from 1933.

No video or links but I did see a single bike chariot at Biketoberfest in Daytona in '06 or '07. They are out there but they are rare.

Sidecarcross (Motorcross with sidecars) is similar and modern. Also pretty cool:
