The idle musings of a former military man, former computer geek, medically retired pastor and now full-time writer. I want to see that picture repeated in a year... LOL
Thanks for the smile. :-)
You all be safe and God bless.
Long ago when the world was new and we lived in a really old log cabin in the mountains we had an older, prize-winning, German Shepherd. We acquired a kitten that looked quite a lot like that one. We have a picture of the Shepherd laying on the floor on his belly awake with his head down between his paws. And the kitten had climbed up on top of his head, settled in, and went to sleep. He didn't repeat it much, but there was no doubt which of the two was dominant.
That dog needs to read Kipling.
I had a Newfoundland about 25 years ago. He would kill any cat that crossed his path. Wife brought home 2 kittens and that dog was their greatest protector. Kittens would curl up on that dog like your picture.
