No. People have sex. Words have gender. Sex is inherently derived from physical structure. Gender is an arbitrary classification scheme for purposes of mental convenience.
It is not possible to change a person's gender, because people do not have gender, and everyone saying they do is dishonest or stupid. Neither is it possible to change sex, because everybody instantly understands that sex is physical and permanent.
Good grammar is your friend. Grammar Nazi will save you.
