My fasting diet is going reasonably well, producing measurable improvements in my health, for which I'm very grateful.
However, I'm NOT grateful to Eaton Rapids Joe for pointing out that "the adjective that best describes my physique is 'sculpted' ".
Dammit, Joe! You're not helping!

You are in good company.
A recent article in the mainstream media described Jeff Bezos' physique as "sculpted". They included a picture. He was more Winnie-the-Pooh than most classic statues. That is what started the stream of thought.
Peter....Jeff....Buddha. No problem
"Sculpted". :-)
I'm in shape! Round is a shape.

Also a query - about 1988 I got a book written by an overseas airline pilot who had been stationed in South Africa that looked at the situation there. It concluded that European intervention had some places in Africa changed the dominant tribes but had not changed the tribal "who hates whose guts".
I loaned the book and it didn't boomerang so any clue to relocate it would be appreciated.
TIA
@TIA: I'm sorry, but I don't know the book about South Africa that you referenced.
I don't think that's what most people think of when they describe someone as "statuesque." But I could be wrong.

Me: "I have the body of a god".
Wife: "Strictly speaking, Buddha wasn't a god".
