It's a hard life . . .
. . . being a cat. Here's Kili, our 8-year-old "rescue" cat, showing her support as Miss D. and I are busy with our daily rounds and common tasks. (Click the image for a larger view.)
Of course, if she decides she needs petting, food or anything else a cat might desire, we're supposed to abandon whatever it is we're doing and attend to her needs at once. As the late Col. Jeff Cooper used to say, "Dogs have owners. Cats have staff."

What a sweetie.
Makes me want to sit quietly beside her and enjoy the peace with her.
pretty much how that works, yeah.
Some people are never happy!
You complained the other day when Ashbutt was supervising and making sure you did the new closets right, and now you're complaining when Kili leaves you to get on with it!
What's a poor kitty cat supposed to do?
Our two cats, though 5 years younger, work just as hard.
