I've had a helmet save my ass (head) more than once (six?) times. Ship yard rigger, tree service, 3 wheelers and motorcycles.

Have landed on my head a couple of times bicycling. Once, hit by a car and the other, slipped on wet leaves last fall. didnt walk away unscathed but I credit my helmets with avoiding concussions.
