Things to do in the cold

Following record cold and snowfalls all over the Northern Hemisphere, it seems people are learning to live with the conditions.

In England, you can always build a quarter-ton snowball on Hampstead Heath, London, push it to the top of a hill, and set it off.

And, if you're in Newfoundland, Canada, you can go to the shoreline and watch the sea waves freeze on contact with the shore.

Someone should tell Al Gore that global warming is breaking out all over!
