Make your own ghost!
I'm very taken with the Do-It-Yourself Ghost illustrated at Wacky Archives.
First, look at this picture. Is that a ghost in the distance?
Let's get a little closer. Still looks pretty real . . .
but when you get right up close, the 'ghost' turns out to be made of wire!
More pictures at the link, including illustrations of how to make this 'ghost' for yourself. Should be fun come Halloween, with the judicious use of luminous or fluorescent paint on the wire to make it stand out at twilight. That should give those pesky trick-or-treaters something to think about!
