These amazing images were captured over long sessions up to 15 hours by an amateur photographer from Bendigo, who only picked up a camera two years ago.
Lincoln Harrison regularly heads for Lake Eppalock in Victoria as the sun goes down, sets up his tripod, starts clicking his shutter and captures the passage of stars across the night sky.
His magnificent images bring to mind the Starry Night paintings of Dutch impressionist artist Vincent Van Gogh.
They show stunning spirals created by the earth's rotation, with stars moving through the sky like meteors.
Harrison, 37, bought his first camera in October 2010 to photograph some clothes he planned to sell on eBay.
