100 years in 100 seconds

This video shows the fashions that would have been common in East London in the UK over the past century.  It's a fun look at how things changed over time.

Historical or not, my parents would surely have walloped me if I'd worn some of the scruffier fashions on display . . .

Good one, and a LOT of work went into that 100 seconds! :-)

Oh thanks for that, BRM!! I love your videos and look forward to your blog every morning. (Sometimes I have to save them for evening as they are just too... hard to read and I love to keep my mornings happy.)

I saw my Mother, starting back in the early 1900's... then... Me!!! I swear she still had some of those dresses right up until they sold their little place and moved to an apartment...

Then.... eh... don't know what they are but I have to claim that I wore bell-bottoms so I can't be too critical!

I liked pretty much everything until the men's hats disappeared, and hated pretty much everything after that.
