Did she make an offer they couldn't refuse?

Some readers may have noted in the news, some months ago, that Victoria Gotti, the wife of a convicted Mafia leader and member of the notorious Gambino crime family, was said to be facing foreclosure and eviction from her home on Long Island, NY.

It seems she's been saved from that dismal fate. According to a news report:

U.S. author and former reality television star Victoria Gotti has reached a tentative deal to keep her Long Island, N.Y., mansion out of foreclosure.

Gotti is the daughter of the late reputed mob boss John Gotti.

. . .

The New York Post said Gotti this week made a deal allowing her to take control of and sell some of Agnello's property to raise money so she can keep her mansion.

Good news for Ms. Gotti, I'm sure. However, I was thinking. How would you like to be the city marshal, or deputy, or bailiff, or other official charged with evicting a member of the Gambino crime family from his or her residence? And what would this do to your prospects? (For life, not just for your career!)

Methinks I'd sooner resign than be the one to serve those papers . . .

Gotta wonder who she made the deal with and how much of the proceeds from those sales will be sticking to those helpful fingers.
