Not a good way to exercise . . .
A bicycle's not a bad way to exercise; likewise, a treadmill. However, the two really, really shouldn't be used together . . . otherwise, this might happen.
@Jim: that's a freestyle/BMX bike. Putting your foot in the front wheel (obviously) stops it quickly, and lets the rider pop the back wheel off the ground - known as a "stoppie" if memory serves. They can then pogo around, change direction, etc.
... except when the ground is moving at 8-10mph in the opposite direction.

No helmet or safety padding at all. What, did he think that because he was indoors he was immune to the laws of physics?
Hopefully this was an isolated case of stupid, because if he does stuff like this all the time, he's going to end up a Darwin award winner.
I'll bet this was a case of the lets-get-high-and-do-something-dumb.

This was deliberate - he stuck his foot on the front wheel.
God only knows why.
