This is priceless!

Autoblog brings us this wonderful video clip of German TV host Barbara Schöneberger being driven around a track by rally ace Walter Röhrl in a new-model turbocharged Audi S3.  Watch the expressions on her face.

It's priceless!

Heh! This reminded me of a groupie that went with us on a trial of a rally timed track in Europe, back in the 70s. At the end, she had half the seat cover in her hands. Don't ask me how she managed to do it!

I thought what was priceless were the facial expressions of the driver compared to the TV host who, to me, seemed to be faking her reactions and not doing a very convincing job of it.

At 1:16 she says she's not going to scream, and that she trusts him completely. Ha. :)

Peter, have you seen this vid of F1 driver Riccardo Patrese taking his wife for a spin around a track? It's hilarious.

I wish I spoke German, but that's hilarious. She seems to have spent most of the time afraid to look forward.

Walter showed a stone face the whole time he was at speed. Seems like concentrating on what you're doing is more important than looking good doing it.

I would love to see a split screen version with a camera facing forward to the road.

Not all German drivers are stoic and stodgy on the track.. ;)
