This Russian video clip shows a snowmobile in pursuit of an uncounted horde of rabbits across a snowfield. Just look at the tracks they leave behind!
I've no idea why the snowmobile driver was chasing them - but they seem to have got away.

Herding Hares! looks somewhat more effective than herding cats, although that line abreast at the end looks like the beginning of trouble. lol
Bart's got it right - probably Vodka.
But when I was in high school (many moons ago) the motorcyclists used to take their 50 cc Honda's down to one of the parks and chase after squirrels and chipmunks.
