Looking forward to 'The Hobbit'

Despite my reservations about Peter Jackson's decision to expand 'The Hobbit' from a two- to a three-part movie, incorporating material from elsewhere in the Tolkien canon, I'm greatly looking forward to the first part of the movie when it's released next month.  Here's the last of the production videos, including footage shown at Comic-Con in San Diego earlier this year.

For those who haven't seen it yet, here's the latest trailer for the movie.

Finally, Air New Zealand has produced an in-flight safety movie using characters, costumes and themes from 'The Hobbit'.  It's a lot of fun.

Roll on, December!  Miss D. and I have a movie date!

If the movie is half as funny, it should be remarkable.

Air New Zealand consistently does a great job with their safety briefings - by far the most clever and topical corporate productions I've seen. There're some other good examples on Youtube - love their work!
