There have been some side-splitting posts among my favorite bloggers in recent days.
The Bloggess, whom we've met before in connection with getting lost, inflicting a human-size metal chicken on her husband, and pondering the use of Viagra on hamsters, has now taken to torturing her husband with bananas - or, at least, messages on bananas.
I saw this life-hack about how you can lightly trace notes on banana skins with toothpicks and then the next day the notes will show up like magic.
The person writing the tip suggested writing sweet notes for your kids on their bananas. I promptly went and traced notes on all of our bananas and then immediately forgot about it, until the next day when I heard Victor screaming about how the bananas were talking to him.
There's more at the link. Tooooooo funny!
Next, Calvin's Mom describes how her cat ate her daughter's helium-filled balloon, and its string, with results that can best be described as . . . er . . . interesting. Go read her account of how she had to sort out the resulting mess. All I can say is, I'm glad my kitties never had that particular problem!
Finally, Firehand shares a couple of pictures of what happens when a large SUV hits a guard rail end-on, and the rail penetrates from front to back of the vehicle and keeps on going! Mind-boggling damage . . . although fortunately (miraculously?) no-one appears to have been injured.

"Have you ever watched a magician perform the "never-ending scarf trick?"
Have you ever struggled to pull-start a chainsaw?"
Bahahaha!
We used to have a Siamese cat that liked playing with inflated balloons. When the inevitable happened it would then eat it. A day or two later....
Ugh.
Cat eating helium balloons may be unnatural, cat eating grass however ....
Cat does not chew the grass, cat does not digest the grass, cat wanders around with clingons attached to grass, aargh!
I consider The Bloggess a must-read blog--and The Ass of Terror! was hilarious. :D
