Here's a fascinating look from a helmet-mounted camera as a two-man bobsled goes down a course (location unspecified). It's scary to see how fast the curves come up! I can hardly imagine how the 'pilot' manages to steer the sled into each one without crashing. I recommend watching it in full-screen mode for the best perspective.
I guess it must take lots of practice to get it right!

Where does the US Olympic team practice? Old Glory is flying from a building at the beginning of the clip, and the Olympic rings are on a wall at the bottom.
Personally, though, I'm content to watch it on TV.
Being a closed course without changes from run to run, drivers memorize the turns. Then they "visualize" them - over and over and over. I've seen them sitting in the bar of an evening, running the course with beer in hand, swaying left and right synchronizing themselves to the course as if they were actually sliding down the ice. And then watched them stand up and walk back to their rooms without the slightest waver or wobble.
Bobsledders are crazy people.
stay safe.
That is truly an E-ticket ride!!! They obviously clang when they walk... :-)
