A real fishing story!
The Peripatetic Engineer has some fascinating video footage on his blog. It shows a marlin, trapped in a blow-out preventer deep beneath the sea, below an oil rig (which I think is in the Gulf of Mexico).
The 'pilot' of a remotely operated vehicle (ROV), to which the camera is attached, makes several passes to clutch the tail of the giant fish with the ROV's arm, and pull it clear. It's very interesting to watch.
