Well done, that lady!
Courtesy of a link at Powerline, we come across this video report of an armed robbery in California that was foiled by a proverbial 'little old lady' - with a gun!
Well done, Ma'am! I bet they needed the services of a laundry after that . . .

Damn, on of the thugs has on a Crimson Tide hoodie. Must be an Oklahoma State fan, attempting to bring discredit to the University :(
Dirk: most stores front doors open outward, possibly per fire code. But, yeah, not good prior intelligence gathering on their part.
Has it been verified she missed?
One problem with killing them, if they are part of an established gang, is they may continue to come back due to maintaining their "street rep". Some years back, another jewelry dealer had that problem. Numerous shootouts, a bunch of dead gangsters, and he decided to close his shop and move. That was in the LA area, I think. IIRC, he hit every one of them, and I'm not sure any survived.

The first clue things were not going to work out was their confusion with PUSH or PULL on the front door. I think that's called foreshadowing!

Needs "Yakkity Sax" and it would be perfect.

A little Benny Hill would work, too, even though it was already done with the coffee shop robbery that was broken up.
And, yeah... these guys couldn't even read the great big "PUSH" sign on the outside of the door...Wow.
Nice try, but she did'nt hit or take down one of them.
Some target practice might be in order here.
