Fashion predictions for the 21st century - from 1930!
Here's what some fashion designers in 1930 predicted women would be wearing in the year 2000.
I daresay current designers' predictions about what women will be wearing at the dawn of the 22nd century will be equally silly . . .

Nice to know that "ludicrous" has been around for a while in the fashion industry...
The BAT-belt is much like what today's geeks wear.
The generic length actually has already come and gone. I think that belt has no iPhone pocket! :)
I dunno, I've seen some people wearing clothing that's just as transparent as that net-like stuff...
At least they got the "fitted with a telephone" part right, though understandably the size of the handset if off a bit.

phone, but no credit cards. Interesting to note that pants as high fashion were known, but dismissed as absurd. I like the lightbulb!
