My interest was piqued (to put it mildly) by the opening sentence of a news report on Swedish Web site The Local:
"An unusually high number of Swedish golfers have reported being bitten by vipers while handling their balls in the rough."
My instant reaction was: "Damn, those Swedish golfers give it all they've got!"
Sadly, the report turned out to be about something no less risky, but definitely less entertaining . . .
