What's in a name?
Quite a lot, judging by one Englishman. He's just changed his name from 'Richard Smith' to 'Stormhammer Deathclaw Firebrand'!
That's not the weirdest name change, though. Metro UK reports on a number of others that are way out there in left field, including 'Aron Mufasa Columbo Fonzerelli Ball In A Cup Boogie Woogie Brown' and 'Tintin Captain Haddock Confused Brewer'.
We have them in the US as well . . . fellow bloggers at The Volokh Conspiracy report that a man with the splendid name of 'Snaphappy Fishsuit Mokiligon' applied to a court in New Mexico to change his name. (They approved his request.) His new monicker? 'Variable'.
Uh-huh . . .
*Sigh*
